Puppy Parties
If your puppy is vaccinated with us as Summer Lane Vets, we are offering you a free puppy socialisation course with our qualified Veterinary Nurse Michelle. What a puppy experiences between the ages of 8 weeks and 14 weeks is critical to its behaviour later in life. Puppy socialistion is about getting your puppy to meet other puppies, and people in a relaxed fun atmosphere. We accept pups after their first vaccine, and Michelle is happy to offer advice regarding toilet training, chewing and basic training, amongst other topics. The course is held here at Summer Lane, so you pup will hopefully associate coming to the vets as a fun experience!
NEW GROOMING SERVICE
We are now offering a new grooming service to local dogs and cats, we are often get requests to groom matted cats/dogs and clip pets with medical problems. So Nick and Tracey decided they could expand this service by offering grooming to the wider population. Although they confess they are not up to crufts standard yet, they are undergoing training and are willing to take your average dog for bathing and clipping, or your cat for a brush through/dematt. Please don't be embarrassed if your pet has got matted up we've seen it all before! Also if your pet has been prescribed medicated shampoo, but you are finding it difficult bathing them at home Nick and Tracey are happy to do this for you. They will also check your pet's ears, eyes, and clip their nails whilst they are here with us. We also aim to be very competively priced.
